John serves as the President and CEO of Andrews & Cox, P.C. d/b/a Bleecker Brodey & Andrews. John is daily involved in all aspects of the firm's operations, with an emphasis on technological innovation and ensuring a premium client experience for all of BB&A's clientele. In his various roles in the office, John has played an integral role into the firm's expansion into Chicago, Illinois, Lousiville, Kentucky, and Atlanta, Georgia, as well as the firm's inclusion in the exclusive Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac legal networks. John is admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, Kentucky Supreme Court, and numerous federal district courts in those jurisdictions. John is an involved member of NARCA, Five Star Institutue, ACA International, Indiana Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Lambda Chi Alpha Alumni Advisory Board, and Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Westfield, Indiana. John is also a proud member of the Honorable Order of the Kentucky Colonels. John received his law degree in 2002 from the Indiana University School of Law—Indianapolis. John attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2000. While attending Wabash, he was president of his fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha, and a member of both the track and debate teams.

Julia (“Julie”) Andrews received her law degree from Indiana University School of Law Indianapolis, in 2003, and her bachelors degree in Geography and Classical Studies/Archaeology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1999. Julie is a certified mediator and admitted to practice in Indiana and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Steve received his university education at Indiana University, Bloomington and then attended John Marshall Law School in Chicago, graduating in 1975. That same year Steve was admitted into practice in Indiana and is a member in good standing of the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Hamilton County Bar Association, and the United States Supreme Court Bar. Steve is also a member of the Indiana Creditors Bar Association, Commercial Law League of America, National Association of Retail Collections Attorneys and American Collections Association – Member Attorney division.

Ronald B. Brodey was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from North Central High School in 1963. Ron attended Indiana University in Bloomington, graduating in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He received his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington in 1970. Upon his graduation from law school, Ron began representing injured individuals practicing at the law firm of Eskanazi, Mitchell & Yosha, where he became a partner. In October 1980, Ron joined Marc A. Bleecker and Stephen K. Andrews to form Bleecker Brodey & Andrews, where he continued representing individuals who were injured in automobile, motorcycle and trucking accidents.

Dennis V. Ferguson received his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law, Seattle, Washington, in 1983, after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana, in 1980. Additionally, Mr. Ferguson completed the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Basic Course from the University of Virginia in 1985.

Melissa is the Managing Attorney for BB&A’s Atlanta Georgia office. Melissa is originally from Coral Springs, Florida and received her B.S. degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2003. Melissa received her J.D. from the University Of Miami School Of Law in 2006 and is a licensed member of the State Bar of Florida and the State Bar of Georgia. Melissa is also admitted to practice in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the Northern District of Georgia. Melissa has concentrated her practice in collections since relocating to Atlanta, Georgia in January of 2007 and is a member of the Creditor’s Rights section of the State Bar of Georgia.

Noelle graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2005. Noelle is a member of the Illinois Creditor's Bar Association and is managing the firm's Chicago office. Noelle is also admitted to the Northern and U.S. District Courts for the State of Illinois.

Fred Hecht is the Managing Attorney for BB&A's Louisville, Kentucky office. In addition to managing the firm's Kentucky office, Fred is highly involved in the Collections, Foreclosure, and Creditor's Rights in Bankruptcy divisions of the firm. Fred is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Indiana, as well as numerous federal district courts in those jurisdictions. Fred obtained his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University - Claude W. Petit College of Law in 2004 and also holds Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana Unversity.

Andy is an associate of the firm at BB&A’s Atlanta, Georgia office. A native of Long Island, New York, Andy received a BA degree in History from the State University of New York at Albany in 1981. Andy received his J.D. from the Duke University Law School in 1984. In addition to being licensed to practice in the state trial and appellate courts of Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia, Andy is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee, and the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Concentrating his practice on collections for BB&A, Andy is a member of the Creditor’s Rights Section of the State Bar of Georgia, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Tennessee Bar Association. Residing in Johns Creek, Georgia, Andy and his wife, Carrie, enjoy tennis, bowling, team trivia, and spending time together.

Traci obtained her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Indiana University in 1997 and then attended Ohio Northern University - Claude W. Petit College of Law where she received her J.D. in 2001. Traci is admitted to practice in Indiana and the United States DIstrict Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Traci is a member of the Indiana Creditors Bar Association. Traci concentrates on collections for the firm.

Mike began his legal career serving as Senior Law Clerk to the Honorable Paul H. Buchanan, Jr., Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of Indiana for three and one-half years. Mike then became a staff attorney for the Trust Department of Merchants National Bank & Trust Company, now PNC Bank. He served in that capacity for seventeen years, first in the Trust Department and later in the bank’s Law Department as a Vice President and Associate Counsel. Prior to joining Bleecker Brodey & Andrews, he was a staff attorney at the law firm of Crotty & Smyth.
Mike attended Indiana University in Bloomington, graduating with distinction in 1977, when he was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa scholastic honors society. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis in 1981.
Mike is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and its Elder Law and Probate, Trust and Real Property Sections. Mike belongs to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and its local chapter. He is also a member of ElderCounsel, the Academy of VA Pension Planners and ElderLaw Answers. He is also a member of the Hamilton County Bar Association. Mike is a member of the board of directors of the Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County.
Mike has spoken to both professional and community organizations on a variety of topics including general estate planning, ethical wills, ethical considerations in the representation of the elderly client and disability planning. He has also written articles for publication on the need for estate planning in the age of death tax uncertainty and on the importance of estate planning for young families.
Mike and his wife, Susan, enjoy reading and traveling. Mike is also an aspiring woodworker; although, his major project to-date has been the creation of piles of sawdust.
Mike has been involved in estate planning almost his entire professional career. Estate planning involves counseling clients regarding their wishes and implementing those expectations by drafting wills or trusts as needed and assisting families in the probate of a will or death settlement of a trust when an estate plan matures. He became interested in elder law, which involves all legal issues affecting the older person including such matters as Medicaid planning or VA Pension Benefit planning, during his late mother’s long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Mike limits his practice to these areas of law.
Bryce is from Birmingham, AL and works out of BB&A’s Atlanta, Georgia office. Bryce attended the University of Alabama for both undergraduate and law school, receiving his BA degree in History in 2010 and his J.D. in 2013. Bryce is licensed to practice law in Alabama and Georgia.
Shari Morris is originally from Jackson, MS and a current resident of Atlanta, GA. In 2009, she received her Bachelor's degree in Legal Communications from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Shari received her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2012. As a law student, Shari was honored to receive the Professional Responsibility Award, be inducted into the National Order of Barristers and became a Thurgood Marshall National Mock Trial Champion. Also in 2012, Shari was admitted to practice law and became a member of the Mississippi State Bar.
Collections Department Manager
Jack currently serves the firm in the capacity of Collections Manager. Jack is a lifelong resident of Indiana, having graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1992. Through his extensive work in consumer and commercial collections, Jack has developed a successful career in the collection industry, including over ten years with Andrews & Cox, P.C. d/b/a Bleecker Brodey & Andrews. His previous experience includes working and managing both consumer and commercial collection portfolios throughout the Midwest; with a concentration on consumer debt collections. Jack is married and has one daughter. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, and playing softball.
Foreclosure Department Manager
Lace graduated from Trine (formally Tri-State) University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. After working for the Prosecutor’s Office, Lace accepted a paralegal position with BB&A in 2011. She currently serves as the firm’s Foreclosure Manager and is responsible for day to day operations, client relations, monthly reports and audits.
